Prep Instructions

YOU WILL NEED:

1 LB. SIRLOIN STEAK CUT IN ½-INCH CUBES

1 TABLESPOON VEGETABLE OIL

1 ¾ CUPS WATER

1 TABLESPOON BUTTER

FOR FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY, FOLLOW THE COOKING DIRECTIONS. REFRIGERATE LEFTOVERS.

1. Cook Rice: Add water, rice, and butter to 2-quart saucepan; stir well. Bring to boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 20 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.

While Rice is Cooking -

2. Cook Steak: Stir beef pieces, oil, and Seasoning Mix in 10-inch non-stick skillet until well coated. Cook over medium-high heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until very little liquid remains, and meat begins to char.

3. Serve beef with rice. Top with desired toppings and Queso Blanco Sauce.

Suggested toppings: fresh guacamole, fajita veggies, pinto beans.
